A growth platform to create an ecosystem of permissionless L1s.
There is a massive surge in demand for blockchains caused by market cycles, regulatory pressure, and accessibility of infrastructure.
With each market cycle, we see a massively valuable inflow of founders who are looking to differentiate their products with blockchain. The most sophisticated teams build in way that has maximum value accrual to their network. Meanwhile, the USA is actively creating decentralization frameworks, which will force builders to build protocols with regulatory cover - and by process of elimination they will be forced to launch their own L1 (permissionless blockchain).
But today there is no place to build a permissionless L1, so new builders are forced to make lose-lose tradeoffs:
Additionally, to make their protocol usable founders need gather enough liquidity for their native token at launch. This requires navigating a large and fragmented vendor supply chain which often have misaligned incentives and needs crypto specific knowledge (eg. launchpads, CEXs, market makers, tokenomic advisors).
The current approaches only solve for specific pieces of the entire problem - fragmenting the building experience, stunting innovation, and keeping the next wave of builders locked out of web3.
Ideally, builders should be able to launch their own permissionless L1 with innovative token economies, skip the TGE supply chain, and interoperate with any protocol in web3 as easily as a smart contract call.
We are doing the hard thing, and building the Unity L1 - a fully verticalized protocol that offers an SDK backed by a shared liquidity & security layer of the L1, in order to create an ecosystem of permissionless L1s.
